I am a devoted follower of the Peter Ainsley/Marshall House Mysteries. I have read all five and I cannot wait until the sixth one comes out in 2017. I have fallen in love with the characters. Especially Margaret and Peter. I have also become fond of Inspector Simms and Aunt Charlotte. I'm hoping that the Lord Marshall recovers somewhat and Daniel becomes more involved with the rest of the family. I'm also hoping that the Marshall's become a yearly event(or even more frequently). Sincerely, a true and devoted follower and avid fan.
No need to apologize. I knew exactly who you meant and I love her too. :) Thank you so much for your kind words. I am humbled to know that readers are enjoying my little make believe world as much as I do. As my children age I've been able to carve out more time to devote to writing which means more frequent books, I hope. After book six I am taking a bit of a break from Ainsley to do some other projects. I can't seem to keep up with my imagination it seems. But the future plan is for more of Peter and Margaret and perhaps Simms will get a series of his own. Thanks again for stopping by. Thank you for your reply. Although I'm saddened that the series will not continue past book six, I anxiously look forward to further works from you. You are a very talented author. I hope you seriously consider giving Inspector Simms his own series. How fascinating! Thank you for your time and talent. Sincerely, Brenda Lang
Thank you so much, Brenda. You words of encouragement are just what I need right now as I slog through some rewrites for Marshall Book #6. Hoping to have it off my plate before Christmas so that deadline looms. My husband is on Team Simms too. We'll have to see what my imagination can come up with. Thanks again for commenting. Happy Holidays. :)

ReplyDeleteMy terrible mistake! Aunt Louisa! Not Aunt Charlotte! It's 5:00am. It's my only excuse. A thousand apologies.
